Summer Sessions for Grade-Level Dancers
Welcome to summer! We want to make it simple and affordable for your dancer to take advantage of the gloriously long days of summer to get stronger and more skilled in Irish Dance. To that end, we are providing several options for our continuing dancers, Beginners through Champs:
Irish Dance Camp for Just-Promoted Beginners
Beginner Irish camp is for dancers who just completed their Intro Irish year.
This five-day intensive "camp" will help dancers get a jump on their Beginner skills & drills.
Offered just once this summer: June 5-9 (scroll down for more info)
Weekly classes for Intermediates through Champs.
Choose one or both 4-week sessions that works for your summer schedule.
Classes are "officially" once a week, but there's no extra charge if you want to dance both days of the week!
Summer Session #1: June 5 - June 30 (4 weeks)
Summer Session #2: July 10 - Aug. 11 (4 weeks)
No dance classes during the week of July 24-28
(everyone will be at NSA's Music Camp)
Please note that camps and summer sessions must have 5 students enrolled to "make." If a class is canceled we will, of course, refund any money paid.
Intermediate Irish 1 & 2 Skills & Drills
12:00 - 1:15 PM
Open to dancers who will be dancing at the Intermediate 1 or 2 level in the fall. This is the first level that dances in hard shoes. While it would be best for dancers to start getting used to their "heavies," it is not necessary to have purchased hard shoes in order to participate in this session. The fee is the TOTAL cost of a four-week session.
Intermediate dance classes will only be offered during the first session.
