2022/23 Irish Dance Classes

Intro Irish: 6 & 7 yos.

Wednesdays, 12-1pm (homeschool)

   or...

Tuesdays, 4-5pm (after school)

This class is for...​

1) Twinkle Star graduates who want to try Irish dance, or 2) Young ladies who are brand-new to Irish Dance, but can't wait to try!

Basic Irish dance positions, steps, and games will provide a solid foundation in Irish Dance. Classes are fun and lively sessions that meet once a week for one hour.

Young Beginner Irish
6 & 7 year-olds

Mondays, 10:00-11:00am

   or...

Wednesdays, 4:00-5:00pm

This class is for dancers who have graduated from the Intro Irish class. "Beginner" is the first official grade as established by An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG) in Dublin, Ireland, but these dancers are often in their second year of Irish Dance.  Ghillies are required footwear for Beginners.

This is the level at which dancers get to begin to dance in HARD SHOES! These second or third-year dancers will work on Adv. Beginner treble reels, hornpipes, and treble jigs in hard shoes. Intermediate dancers must demonstrate good technique and timing as they drill their hard shoe steps.​
